This wicked king is also described in Daniel 7. We read: “He will speak words against the Most High, and will harass the holy ones of the Most High. He will think of changing times and laws, and they will be delivered into his power for a time, times, and half a times [three and one half years]” (Dan.7:25).

The book of Revelation in the New Testament describes this wicked tyrant as a “beast.” The apostle John writes: “The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for FORTY-TWO MONTHS [three and one half years!]. . . . THE DEFINITION OF THE OMER AND HOW TO COUNT IT! , after the barley in Israel reaches the stage in its ripeness called Abib, for the Sacred Calendar Sequence of Sabbaths/Feasts/ or Holy Convocations ....... Lev. 23: 4-16 ....... Passover ....... Unleavened Bread ....... Barley/Firstfruits/Wave Sheaf offering, unto Pentecost, unto The Eigth Day ....... Lev. 23:1-39-44.

The "OMER" is the "WAVE SHEAF" of BARLEY which is cut down and offered to Almighty God at the beginning of barley harvest, the day following the Passover holy day, Nisan 15. It was to be waved by the high priest before God on Nisan 16, the day barley harvest was to begin. . IT IS A MEASUREMENT OF BARLEY consisting of about 5.1 pints of grain.

We believe in counting the Omer, one must realize the context of the 7th. day Sabbath cycle is to be considered as a definite factor in counting the Omer 50 days being Pentecost as the scripture can not be broken but rightly dived: one must realize the context of the 7th. day Sabbath cycle is to be considered as a definite factor in counting the Omer 50 days being Pentecost. ....... The context of this verse falls within the timeframe of the Days of Unleavened Bread, as verse 8 summarized the seven days and that the seventh day was a time of holy convocation. The Sabbath referred to in verse 11 could have only been the weekly Sabbath that fell within the Days of Unleavened Bread. If it were counted from either one of the Holy Days (first or seventh), then Pentecost would always fall on the same day of the month year after year and would not have to be counted. but! NOT ON A SUNDAY ALL THE TIME,

and that for the people that knows of this error will continue until their time is over! , but! : it does not mean that: Hebrews 10:25 ....... The Last Great Day of the Feast -- Hoshana Rabbah.The seventh day of the Feast of Tabernacles is not an annual Sabbath day -- yet it has special meaning and significance of its own. In ancient times it was known as the "great day of the feast." Being the seventh and last day of the Feast -- and the culmination of the Feast -- it represented in a unique way the FINAL DAY OF HARVEST! Therefore, it also pictured the FINAL DAY of JUDGMENT! As the Lord of host, which has been given all power on earth as it is in heaven, have said in the old testament scriptures, about to remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it! holy. We believe that this statement applies to esp. for every person that is responsible for their salvation in Jesus Christ our Lord and precious saviour, in the new testament scriptures as well. The Mystery of Shemini Atzeret -- the "Eighth Day" ....... The 8th. Day/Shemini Atzeret

In the book of Leviticus we read a description of all the annual holy days of God, beginning with Passover, Feast of Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and the seven day Feast of Tabernacles or "Ingathering" of the harvest (Lev.23:1-36). Then, at the close of the Feast of Sukkoth or Tabernacles, in the fall, we read: ....... ". . . on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein" (Lev.23:36). .......

This one-day festival occurs right at the end of the seven-day Feast of Tabernacles, which pictures the Millennial Reign of Christ (Rev.20:4; Isa.11). The last or seventh day of the Feast of Tabernacles pictures the FINAL DAY OF HARVEST or INGATHERING -- that is, the final time of spiritual harvest which is pictured by the Great White Throne judgment, when all those who ever lived are resurrected and "judged" according to their works ....... (Rev.20:11-15). This "seventh day" of the Feast is also called "the great day of the feast" (John 7:37), and is the time when God's Spirit is poured out on all mankind (John 7:37-39). It pictures a truly "great day of salvation" when billions will be saved, and will come to know God! .......
